What is this tool for?

Staring at seven random tiles trying to see a word is one of the most frustrating parts of Scrabble and Words With Friends, especially when the clock is running. This tool checks your letters against a full word list instantly and shows every valid word you can make, sorted by score, so you can pick the strongest play rather than the first word you happen to spot.

How to use it

Type your available letters (use ?for each blank tile you have), optionally add a "must contain" pattern to narrow results, and hit Find Words. Results are sorted by standard Scrabble point value, highest first — entirely client-side, nothing sent to a server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this free to use?

Yes, with no account or sign-up, and it runs instantly in your browser.

Does it work for Words With Friends too?

The word list and scoring here follow standard Scrabble conventions. Words With Friends uses a similar but not identical dictionary and point system, so scores may occasionally differ slightly.

How do blank tiles work?

Type a question mark (?) for each blank tile in your rack. The finder treats it as a wildcard letter, and blank-covered letters correctly score zero points, matching real Scrabble rules.

Why isn't a word I know showing up?

The word list is large but not infinite — very obscure or non-standard words may not be included. Double-check the letters you entered match your rack exactly.
